ABOUT SARDAR MOHAMED ARSHAD KHAN

21 November 1953 – 28 October 2025

Born in Haillain Village, Poonch, Rawalakot, Kashmir, Arshad Khan entered the world carrying the qualities that would later
define him: strength, resilience, compassion, and unwavering loyalty.

At only seven years old, after losing his father, he became the mehram, protector, and head of his household. This responsibility
shaped his entire life — devoting himself to supporting the women under his care, and standing by every man he loved with
honour and respect.

Thanks to the deep love and guidance of his beloved uncle, who raised him like a son, Arshad left the village at age 17. He
travelled first to Germany, then to the United Kingdom, working day and night to send every penny home.

He began as a waiter, tried many jobs, and eventually found his path in financial advising. From there, he built a successful real estate business, allowing him to relocate his mother and family from Haillain to Islamabad — fulfilling the promise he made as a
young boy.

He was blessed with the emotional and brotherly strength of:
Ikhlaq Khan, Murad, Shaukhat, Niaz, Fiaz, Saifi, Altaf, and Iftikhar.

Together, they uplifted countless families in Kashmir.
He lived with remarkable generosity, kindness, and humility.
He passed away peacefully in his home on 28 October 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and sacrifice that his children
now carry forward.

This foundation is his sadaqah jariyah.
His legacy continues through every life we help and every prayer made in his name.

HIS VILLAGE: HAILLAIN, RAWALAKOT, KASHMIR

Haillain is a raw, beautiful mountain village — full of resilience, simplicity, and struggle. It is where Arshad Khan took his first steps, climbed steep rocky hills to reach school, and learned the values of honour, family, and sacrifice.

But like many rural areas in Kashmir, Haillain and surrounding villages face:
● No clean water filtration
● Limited access to education
● Few economic opportunities
● Families trapped in generational hardship

This foundation begins in Haillain, the soil that raised him —

and will expand across all of Kashmir, especially to villages with no resources, no water, and no educational access.
